This amazing Taniwha soft toy is a design collaboration between Aotearoa creative Miriama Grace-Smith and Moana Road.

Miriama has designed two colourful Taniwha for this collaboration, Awhi - the helpful one and Whakama - the shy one.

Miriama Grace-Smith is a full-time artist, based in Wellington where she works from her studio at Toi Pōneke. Miriama dabbles in a few different areas within the creative arts, as a curator, muralist, illustrator, fashion designer, film costume and art director.
